Science Week

As part of our science week celebrations Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 went on a climate change walk. The children were passionate about making a change and were delighted when the public cheered them on. Well done St John's!

London Fire Brigade Workshop

Year 5 had a fantastic workshop with the London Fire Brigade today. We learnt all about keeping safe with electricity and fire. Thanks @LondonFire for helping to keep us safe.

KS1 Nativity 'Christmas Counts'

Early years and KS1 performed the nativity ‘Christmas Counts’. It was spectacular and the children sang and spoke beautifully! Well done children!

Christmas Carols

On the 5th December Y5 joined with the Y4 class from St Mark’s, one of our Deanery schools, to sing Christmas carols for charity. The children were amazing, singing their hearts out. We raised a whopping £219 which will be donated to the Islington homeless shelter. Well done Year 5!

Forest School First Port

This term the children have had a fantastic time learning how to make a den, creating forest art, pond dipping, braving the giant mudslide and finishing it off with toasted marshmallows and hot chocolate.
