School council

Each class from Year 2 to Year 6 has 2 school council representatives. They gather the views of their class and meet regularly to discuss ways to improve the school. Some of our school councillors have important roles to help the group work well.

This year we started to focus on extended schools and the type of clubs children would like to attend- have a look at the minutes for the meeting on 29th January (below) too see what was most popular. We also continued to focus on charities that support our school vision of 'love one another as I have loved you'. We like to work closely with charities so that we can understand what they do and how our fundraising helps people who are supported by them. We had a visit from Andy Chrich at CARIS who told us how they help the homeless through night shelters during the cold winter months.

Now that we are all back in school after a very disrupted Summer term, we are looking forward to meeting again and working to improve the school.
